Bed Dragon

A transmuted construct shaped like a dragon but assembled entirely from the components of a bed. Bedposts serve as legs, a wooden mantle frames the wings at the shoulders, and luxurious quilts drape the flanks. Button eyes stare from a head stuffed with feathers and foam.

The construct's quilted hide absorbs forceful impacts and dulls non-magical strikes. Its signature attack is Splinter Breath — a cone of inhaled wood, nails, and shards drawn from the surrounding environment and blasted outward in a devastating shrapnel burst.

The party encountered a single bed dragon animated by Ahmed Noke with the stolen Shinebright wand. Noke later cast enlarge upon it mid-flight, swelling the construct from a queen to a California king and doubling its mass and wingspan. When Noke fell unconscious, his concentration broke and the construct deflated to its original size before being destroyed by fireball and magic missile.
