Giant Spider

A large arachnid that drops from cave ceilings on threads of silk. Its bite drives venom deep, and its fangs find gaps in leather.

The party encountered one in the entrance pool of the southern sea cave, where it ambushed Rowan alongside a pair of giant crabs. Petunia lulled it to sleep mid-strike; it woke thrashing and furious moments later and was finally undone when Vessel's sound-magic gathered like a held breath and crashed outward, bursting the creature apart against the cave wall.
