Karumon the Bound — A cloth-wrapped, mummified figure that pulled itself upright from a sarcophagus inside Auntie Dirtha's shack, summoned by her bone-card reading. Drawn by the Hanged Man — "drowned king. He who would not give, so everything was taken" — and bound to Aldric.

In the cavern beneath the oasis, Karumon mounted the giant scorpion Kishep and engaged the party in combat. The mummy cast a spell of true silence, attempted to charm Helena with its dreadful gaze, and struck with rotting fists. When the party began ascending into the pyramid proper, Karumon retreated deeper into the structure, withdrawing toward levels yet unexplored.

The pyramid's records suggest Karumon may once have been a priest bound to guard the tomb of Ramkheret.
