Psionic Abomination

A massive creature with four glowing red eyes and innumerable tentacles, tied to the underwater cult. It surfaced after the party destroyed the necromantic crystal in the Coral Forest, radiating fury as it watched.

The creature's psionic presence can charm and control minds from a distance—it briefly turned Rowan against his allies before the effect broke. Its mind control is similar to that of the psychic obelisk found on the bluff north of camp.

It did not attack, only watched, then fled into the deep. A drawing recovered from the cult depicts larger versions of similar creatures surrounding an underwater tower with a red crystal roof.

In Session 20, the Aboleth confirmed through the captive Silas: "It is one of us, but we are many. You've seen one of my brothers — and slain one as well. An unforgivable act." This creature is one of multiple Aboleths operating in the Wildermarch's waters.
