Descend the Sunken Pyramid
When Dirtha vanished into desert wind, the sand stripped away from the cavern floor and revealed the truth: her shack does not sit on stone. It sits on the apex of a vast, ancient pyramid that descends far into the earth.
The entrance lies through the shack itself, into the dark below. The party stands at the top of it — with a giant scorpion and a mummy at their backs, summoned by Dirtha's bone cards and bound to Helena and Aldric.
The pyramid was hidden beneath the desert until Dirtha left. Whatever waits at its base is older than the hag, and she has been waiting for it.
Resolved (Session 25): The party descended through scarab corridors, weighing-puzzles, sphinxes, and embalming chambers; assembled the three syllables of Dirtha's name and freed both King Ramkheret and his brother Karumon; and shattered the hag in the king's chamber. The pyramid liquefied behind them as they departed by folding boat. Only the cavern, the waterfall, and the lake remain.
