The Shinebright Lineage

On the worktable in Finothere's ransacked workshop, Kouzlo found a family portrait of the Shinebright clan: ten identical elves, indistinguishable from one another, the photograph itself old enough to place Finothere at least seven centuries into his life.

Finothere never spoke of siblings, parents, or peers. When the treehouse was lost, he surveyed the wreckage and decided to start fresh — "He'd done it before."

Open questions:

• Are the other nine elves still alive somewhere?
• Are they all related — or all the same person, in the way only transmutation magic could make possible?
• Is "Finothere" a name, or a position?
• The apprentice Noke spent years doing a master's work uncredited; was he the latest in a long pattern?

The Shinebright clan, whatever it actually is, predates N.O.D.E.'s arrival in the Wildermarch by centuries. Wherever Finothere has gone to begin again, he is unlikely to be the last of his line the party encounters.
