Where is Grit?

When the party climbed to Grit's mountain camp before crossing the desert, the camp was empty — the ornate tent undisturbed, the great cauldron dry and cold. Grit himself was nowhere to be found.

Among his alchemical stores, Kouzlo identified candied rose stems treated with arcane powder; anyone who eats one finds their voice turned to razors that draw blood from their own throat for nearly an hour. Hag-craft, kept among Grit's things.

Given the bargain that binds him and Dirtha's reminder of "tick tock," his absence is alarming. Whether he is hiding, taken, or dispatched on the hag's errands is unknown.

Update (Session 25): Dirtha is dead. The bargain that bound Grit died with her. Whether her death freed him, killed him, or simply left him stranded wherever she last sent him remains an open question — and one her sisters, having collected her body and vanished, may yet have an opinion on.
