Jorath Nightbloom

Introduction

Raised in the Moon-hallowed halls of the Nocturne Conservatory, Jorath has studied all manners of flora and fuana that comes alive at night. The Conservatory's gardens, exhibitions, and archives had everything Jorath needed growing up leading to a youth more spent among the elderly scholars than his peers. Using charm and guile, he gained access to some of the more restricted records of fantastical plants, legendary beasts, and all kinds of speices from lore. Enchanted by the possiblity these tales are real, and presented with an opprotunity to prove they are, Jorath sets out to uncharted lands with the vigor of a young elf chasing his dreams.

What We've Learned

Jorath brought Moon Corn seeds from the Nocturne Conservatory and suggested planting them in the fertile field south of camp - pale stalks that thrive in moonlight and now form the foundation of the settlement's food supply.

He wears a Cloak of Protection given to him by Coralia (worn as a sash by the sea guardian), and Aldric is building a library wing in his honor. A Leviathan tattoo marks his skin - it burned when the psionic presence passed through the water during the Coral Forest battle.

During the mountain expedition, Jorath gifted his wand of fireballs to the hermit Grit as a sign of friendship, receiving a Wand of Secrets in return.

He recovered another egg from an Ankeg nest for study - his collection of mysterious insectoid specimens continues to grow.
