Where Have All the Good Cows Gone?

Investigating the Moon Corn fields, the party discovered corrosive goo ruining crops and gear, then traced the disturbance to strange moving shapes and dirt mounds that led into an underground tunnel network. Below, they battled insectoid creatures—including a larger "mama" monster—destroyed their nest, and recovered one of the missing cows. A bugkin named Roland "Rolly" Poland warned of more creatures deeper below and returned to camp with the party, while Jorath brought back a mysterious egg for study.

We found the cows! (Late to post but here is a recap of what went down last week)

Group visited the Moon Corn fields and spoke with head Sailor-Farmer (name?). He told us about this acidic goo all over the fields that have disintegrated the farmers' shoes. Since the work at night, it's hard for them to see what's going on around them. Other farmers reported seeing things moving around.

Near the pools of acid were mounds of dirt. Elarie dug into one and fell into a whole. The group followed after her and found themselves in a tunnel network.

In the tunnels, the group found eggs of an insect type monster. A few of the insects came and fought the group. Mama insect also came. All insects were taken care of and one cow was found.

As the fight was ending, a bugkin named Roland Poland came running up to the group saying more of the insects were on their way. The group hastily got out of the tunnels with Rolly. Rolly joined the group back at camp and is available for further conversation about what he knows of the tunnels under the area. Jorath brought an egg back to camp.
