Bugkin Colony

A civilization of intelligent insectoid humanoids living in an underground settlement beneath the Wildermarch. The bugkin have built a vertical city carved into cavern walls, complete with shops, taverns, and organized patrols.

The colony is home to various bug-like peoples: pill bugs, mosquito-like bartenders, goliath beetle bouncers, and praying mantis scouts like Buck Carapis. Roland "Rolly" Poland's family has lived here for generations - his great-great-grandfather helped dig the original tunnels.

The bugkin are currently under siege from wild insectoid creatures - Ankegs and assassin bugs - that threaten to overrun their home. They've sought help from N.O.D.E., understanding that if their colony falls, the wild bugs would pour upward toward the surface settlements.
