Bugkin Colony

A full underground settlement carved into a massive cavern, built vertically along the rock walls as far as torchlight reaches. The colony has storefronts, foot traffic, the sounds of commerce - the bones of every frontier town, transplanted underground and rebuilt by hands that have never seen the sun.

Roland Poland's ancestors dug these tunnels over generations. Patrols move in easy circuits through the space, and establishments like the local saloon bear signs of repeated conflict - cracked steps, re-hung doors, grime worked into surfaces from impact rather than age.

The colony is under sustained attack from wild Ankegs and assassin bugs emerging from the eastern tunnels. If the colony falls, those creatures would pour upward through the tunnels toward the Moon Corn fields and N.O.D.E. camp.
