Underground Tunnels

A vast network of tunnels beneath the Moon Corn fields, dug over generations by bugkin settlers. The upper tunnels connect to a full underground colony - a vertical civilization carved into cavern walls. Deeper passages lead to the eastern tunnels where wild Ankegs and assassin bugs nest.

The party first discovered the tunnels while investigating missing livestock and corrosive goo damaging crops. They destroyed an initial nest and recovered one cow. Later, Roland Poland led them deeper to help defend the bugkin colony from the wild creatures threatening to overrun it.

Beyond the wild bug territory, a cult fortress is visible in the darkness - another site in the constellation of cult activity scattered across the Wildermarch. That tunnel has been collapsed.
