Lizardfolk

A tribe inhabiting the Pink Swamps in the Wildermarch. They had been attacking cult reinforcements attempting to reach ritual sites, making them enemies of the Cult of the Whispering Stars.

The cult retaliated by raiding their village — slaughtering inhabitants, burning structures, and taking survivors prisoner to an underground crystal-refining operation beneath the swamp. The party destroyed the cultists, freed the prisoners, and collapsed the chamber.

Kessara, a female lizardfolk, now leads what remains of the tribe. She told the party that a star fell from the sky long ago and landed in the swamp — the source of its life and abundance. The cult had been extracting "stars from beneath the earth," refining them into the crystals seen at other cult sites.

The surviving lizardfolk returned to N.O.D.E. camp with the party. They are allies.
