The Bug Infestation

Something beneath the Moon Corn fields threatens both N.O.D.E. camp and the bugkin colony below. Wild insectoid creatures - Ankegs and assassin bugs - attack from the eastern tunnels, threatening to overrun the underground settlement and pour upward toward the surface.

What is known:

• The bugkin colony is a full civilization: vertical settlement, shops, patrols, commerce
• Wild Ankegs and assassin bugs are distinct from civilized bugkin - beasts, not people
• Roland Poland and Buck Carapis are bugkin allies who helped the party reach the eastern tunnels
• Something enormous lurks deeper below - Kouzlo saw dozens of insectoid eyes before his fireball connected
• A cult fortress sits beyond the bug tunnels, part of the wider pattern of cult activity
